Come celebrate with us the Parson's chameleon (Calumma parsonii), a discreet giant of Madagascar's rainforests threatened by deforestation. This festive day will mark the end of the temporary exhibition at MUZOO (La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland) and highlight our conservation programme for the world's largest chameleon.

Not to be missed:

2pm: lecture by Colin Ruffieux, Master's student in biology at the University of Neuchâtel, who will discuss his field mission in Madagascar dedicated to the environmental preferences of dwarf chameleons (Brookesia spp.). A fascinating insight into scientific research and Madagascan biodiversity, in partnership with the Paris Zoological Park (National Museum of Natural History), the Vohimana Reserve (NGO L'Homme et L'Environnement) and our association.

From 3pm, chat with members of our association about the association's conservation projects

🎨 For young and old alike: crafts, care workshops, guided feeding sessions, giant braiding... and of course, Parson's two chameleons to discover in the vivarium!

👕 Exclusive T-shirts are still on sale at the shop, with proceeds going towards conservation.
