Conference AFSA 2024

This week, our association had the privilege of taking part in the annual conference of the Association Francophone des Soigneurs Animaliers (AFSA) at Beauval Zoo!

On our information stand, we had the opportunity to present our projects and share the exciting initial results of our field research. Our lecture entitled ‘Ecological study of chameleons in the Vohimana reserve in Madagascar: initial results’, presented by Olivier Marquis, aroused great interest among the participants.

Our approach to conservation is based on the complementarity of in situ and ex situ actions, and we are grateful to those involved in zoological structures who actively contribute to this vision. The stimulating exchanges and new collaborations envisaged at this event are proof of the importance of working together to preserve chameleons. A huge thank you to everyone who made this experience possible!
