Since January 2023, the Madagascan guides have walked several hundred kilometres through the reserve. Thanks to their efforts, we have collected valuable data on hundreds of chameleon sightings. However, many areas of the reserve remain unexplored, promising fascinating new discoveries.
Over the next two years, we will be stepping up our exploration efforts. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to AFSA (L'Association Francophone des Soigneurs Animaliers) for their generous support. Thanks to their help, we have been able to acquire headlamps, binoculars and a new GPS, essential equipment for the future field missions of our guides and mission leaders.
🌍 Together, let's continue to discover and protect the chameleons and the exceptional biodiversity of the Vohimana reserve!
