A new mission has begun in the Vohimana reserve in Madagascar! (1/2)

Our ecovolunteers will be there to work on two of our projects: (1) the conservation of the world's largest chameleon and (2) an inventory of the reserve's chameleons.

Part 1/2: Parson's chameleon, the largest chameleon in the world

Chloé and Martin, our ecovolunteers, are tasked with establishing new scientific protocols to collect data on the ecology, behaviour and current status of the Parson's chameleon population in the reserve.

In particular, they will be recording climatic data from the recorders installed last year and developing new protocols for monitoring the various individuals identified, with the help of local guides Gagah, Regis and Jérome who have already been equipped and trained during previous missions.

A huge thank you to our technical and financial partners for their vital support!
