We are pleased to announce that Martin Etave, our project manager, will be taking part in the 51st Congress of the Société Herpétologique de France (SHF), which is being held in Carcassonne until 26 October. He will be presenting a poster entitled "Study and conservation of chameleons in the Vohimana reserve (Madagascar)", highlighting the preliminary results of our fieldwork.
This research, carried out over the last two years in the reserve, has enabled us to record 580 observations of chameleons, thereby enriching our knowledge. We will also be presenting the first stages of our project to monitor the Parson's chameleon (Calumma parsonii) in situ.
This congress is a unique opportunity to meet experts in herpetology, to discuss scientific advances and to strengthen actions for the conservation of reptiles and amphibians. We would like to thank the SHF for providing us with this platform for exchange, as well as our partners whose support makes it possible for us to pursue our projects.
