A new member joins the Caméléon Center Conservation team

We are delighted to welcome Benjamin DROUET, a veterinary doctor with a passion for medicine and the conservation of endangered species, particularly Malagasy fauna.

New CCC team member Benjamin Drouet

Benjamin is a specialist in infectious diseases and their impact on the conservation of endangered species. He completed a PhD in bacteriology at the Parc Zoologique de Paris and gained solid experience at the Muséum de Besançon and the Parc Zoologique et Botanique de Mulhouse. He has also worked on reptile conservation projects in mainland France and on Réunion Island with Nature Océan Indien.

His arrival brings a new dimension to our conservation projects. Thanks to his skills in veterinary medicine and microbiology, we will be able to deepen our understanding of chameleon health, particularly through an innovative study of the microbiota of the Parson's chameleon.

We're delighted to welcome him and look forward to following his progress!

Welcome Benjamin!
